Review: well the plot sums it up really, apart from this is definitely a teen girl flick bit like twilight but more interesting and my daughter says the books are awesome. Who am I to argue? This is well acted film with plenty of star names, excellent graphics and scenery as well as a good plot, until it starts to get soppy towards the end, what did I expect? Well just what I got a well acted good film, would I watch it again? Probably not as it’s not really my kind of film but if you have the choice of this or centipede, I’d watch this.

6/10 not for me, good Sunday afternoon, raining outside kind of film.

Film: Zombieland

Year: 2009

Cast: Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Amber Heard, Bill Murray, Derek Graff.

Plot: Searching for family. In the early twenty-first century, zombies have taken over America. A shy and inexperienced college student in Texas has survived by following his 30 rules: such as “look in the back seat,” “shoot twice,” “avoid public restrooms.” He decides to travel to Ohio to see if his parents are alive…

Review: A Great film and possibly one of the funniest zombie films since Shaun of the dead, a funny pairing of Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson, this was a good double act,  With Jesse as the nerdy rule making neurotic, and woody as the gung ho tough guy it was a partnership made in Zombie Heaven.

The laugh’s in this film start right from the off with the commentary and the scenes to go with it all the way to the clown killing near the end, Jesse as Columbus hates clowns, but Zombie clowns, hilarious.

If you want to see a good zombie film and a have a few laughs then this is the film for you especially when the two guys keep getting out smarted by the two sisters.

A brief Cameo by the fantastic Bill Murray is welcome and adds to the laughs right up to the point he gets killed by Columbus.

A must see zombie film which keeps you gripped and laughing all the way to the end.
